There are a few bands that I haven't had a chance to see and I still need to see them. I could have seen them almost all at Wacken this year.

1. Candlemass
2. Holy Moses
3. Accept
4. Celtic Frost

Which ones are yours?

I've been listening to metal a long time, but unfortunately living away from a large city where concerts come often has meant that I have missed out on many, many shows.

I still really wanna see:

Dio
King Diamond
Deadly Blessing
Iron Maiden
Morbid Angel
Manowar
TEMPLE OF BLOOD - Intense PowerThrash Metal from the USA
New album "Overlord" out now!!! Features FORBIDDEN cover song!!!

Also Cirith Ungol and old Omen, but it's impossible for these two ones now....

I just got to see Brocas Helm twice this year. They are really fun to watch. Kind of odd stage show. I video taped them for their upcoming DVD, don't have a copy yet.

I was listening to that Live in Germany 1976 double CD with Rainbow in the car to work today - that's dedinitely one band I wished I could have seen back then!

Some current bands I really would like to see include Destructor, Anvil, Pentagram, Solitude Aeturnus, Dark Angel (they were supposed to play at Wacken a couple of years ago), Manilla Road, Saint Vitus (they did a reunion gig at a German festival not too long ago) to mention but a few.

And about another thousand from all over the world....

RIGHT! If there's one tour I'd have loved to witness, then it's that 1976 world tour of Rainbow with Dio - I was just a couple of years late for that. I remember a guy in my class - we're talking 1979 here - who had his mom stitch the colourful Rainbow-logo on his denim vest - it just looked the coolest.

I do not dare to say and I can understand when you'll snatch away this page from me, but I haven't seen Iron Maiden nor Metallica live on stage... ;(
For all the words unspoken, for all the deeds undone,
for all our shattered dreams, for all the songs unsung,
for all the lines unwritten and all our broken hearts,
for all our wounds still bleeding and all our kingdoms come.

I have been fortunate enough to see them both. Iron Maiden is such a treat to see live. You will love it.

I wish I would have seen Metallica back in the day. The First time I saw them live was in the 90 I think. I also haven't seen Maiden until last year. There is still plenty of time to see those bands.
