Hallo Freunde,
wir haben einige Neuigkeiten und Veränderungen für das kommende KEEP IT TRUE 2018.
Wir haben uns nach letztem Jahr viel Gedanken gemacht und einige Verbesserungen in Gang gesetzt, welche hoffentlich auch in eurem Sinne sind.
- Es wird Security auch nachts auf dem Camping Platz geben, welche dort regelmäßig Streife laufen wird. Dadurch wollen wir für mehr Sicherheit in der Nacht sorgen.
- Es wird auf dem Campingplatz auch erstmals neben den Dixies einen Klowagen mit Spülklos geben.
- Wir haben das Essensangebot stark erweitert und nach draußen verlagert. Es wird neben dem üblichen Stand mit KIT-Steak, Schnitzel, Bratwurst, Feuerwurst, Currywurst, Pommes, etc. nun auch noch zwei weitere Wagen mit Pizza, Asia, usw. geben. Dadurch soll für euch mehr Abwechslung gegeben sein.
- Statt dem Essenverkauf in der Halle haben wir das Ausschankangebot erweitert, u.a. mit einer Cocktailbar.
- Für den Kauf an unserem Merch Stand und bei den Karten könnt ihr erstmals auch mit Kredit und EC-Karte bezahlen und müsst nicht extra zum Geldautomaten gehen.
- Weiterhin wird es diese Jahr zum ersten mal ein Kartenbezahlsystem an den Essens- und Getränkeständen geben. Das bedeutet, ihr bekommt gegen 2 Euro Pfand eine Scheckkarte im KIT Design, welche ihr vor Ort aufladen könnt und damit an den Ständen bezahlen könnt. Wenn ihr geht, bekommt ihr natürlich das Restguthaben bei Rückgabe der Karte auf jeden Fall zurück, oder ihr behaltet die Karte und nutzt das enthaltene Restguthaben für das folgende Jahr. Der Betrag bleibt dann auf jeden Fall auf der Karte bestehen. Diese Maßnahme wird die Schlangen an Essens- und Getränkeständen deutlich verringern, da kein Bargeld mehr involviert ist und einfach die Karte benutzt wird. Für beide Seiten eine Vereinfachung.
- Jetzt kommen wir zu einem weiteren wichtigen Punkt. Wir müssen die Karten für 2019 diesmal leider stärker erhöhen, als es sonst der Fall ist. Die Kosten der letzten Jahre haben sich leider vervielfacht und trotz eines ausverkauften Festivals sind diese leider mit dem aktuellen Eintrittspreis nicht mal ansatzweise zu stemmen. Gründe sind vor allem die gestiegenen Gagen der Bands, die teureren Flüge und vor allem auch Personalkosten, Müllentsorgung und Reinigungsarbeiten. Wir haben bisher nie Campinggebühren verlangt und wollen das auch jetzt nicht tun um den Spirit des Festivals nicht zu verändern. Deswegen müssen wir den Ticketpreis 2019 auf 99 Euro erhöhen. Wir wissen, dass dies ein großer Schritt ist, aber leider unvermeidlich um die Zukunft des Festivals zu garantieren und auch um die hohe Qualität vor allem im Bandbooking zu halten. Wir verhandeln gerade mit einem großen und tollen Headliner für 2019, der mit Sicherheit jeden Cent wert sein wird. Wir hoffen auf eure Treue und Verständnis.

Hello Friends,
we have some news and changes for the upcoming KEEP IT TRUE 2018.
Since last year we thought a lot about improvements for the festival and we hope these will be helpful to you:
- We will have Security during the nights at the camping ground. They will be walking around the camping ground and take care everyone is safe there in the night.
- For the first time we will also have flush toilets on the campground.
- We will have a bigger variety of food this time. All food will now be sold outside and we will have two more stands with Pizza, Asian Food, etc additionally to our usual KIT Steak, Schnitzel, French Fries, etc.
- Instead of food inside the venue we will expand the drinks there and add a cocktail bar inside.
- If you want to buy Merch and Tickets you can now also pay with credit card and EC-card. So you won't need to go to an ATM.
Also we will have a new payment system. For the first time we will use cards (like credit cards) at the food and drink stands. You will get a card for 2 Euro deposit and you can add money to it and pay with it for all food and drinks at KIT. Cash payment won't be possible at drinks and food anymore. The card will be in a very nice KIT design. Once the festival is over you can easily return the card to get back the remaining credit and your 2 EUR deposit. Another option is to keep the card as you can use it again together with your current credit for the upcoming Keep It True festivals, too. This will help to reduce queues at all the stands and will make it all more easy for everyone.
- Now for another very important info. This time we have to raise the ticket price for 2019 much more than usual. The expenses of the last years exploded and despite the fact we are sold out, we cannot break even with the actual ticket price anymore. The cause for that are the rising fees for bands, the more expensive flights and also costs for workers, waste disposal and cleaning. Till now we never asked for a camping fee and we won't in the future to keep the KIT spirit alive. But we have to raise the ticket price to 99 Euro. We know this is a big step, but its absolutely necessary to assure the future of the festival, especially in the high quality of the band booking. We are right now dealing with an amazing and big headliner, that will be worth every cent. We hope for your trust and understanding!
