Deutschland trifft das Flug-Chaos ebenso wie Polen, Frankreich oder andere EU-Länder. Doch bislang gab es wenig Abstimmung. Heute soll auf einer Krisenkonferenz eine gemeinsame Haltung gefunden werden - vor allem zur Frage, wann eine Aschewolke so gefährlich ist, dass der Luftraum gesperrt werden muss.

I don´t want to fear you: Maybe that could be a Problem, but we al don´t hope so!!! Could you maybe book to a train? Copenhagen isnt´even tooooo far, so a train would also drive i think so...

As far as I know only White Wizzard have already canceled - but due to an emergency surgery of a band member, not due to the volcano ash cloud.

As it looks now, it will be a problem. Lufthansa has canceled all flights until monday 18.00, Copenhagen airport is closed until tuesday morgen. But they change the time several times a day... It''s been like this since thursday last week.

Train would be possible, but extremely expensive compared to the flights.

As far as I remember, the last 15 pages contained:

most people claim their loyalty to KIT no matter what happens, while the organizers already have at least 5 bands as a back-up solution. If I remember correctly, still there ain't no definite vulcan caused cancellations, however look at the news, and you can see how much is optimism and how much is dreaming. Some bands from Europe will travel different than by plane and promise to be there.
Everybody agreed, that it will be a very special KIT, no matter what's happening, everybody is looking foward to it (at least the fans said so, could imagine, the organizers have some other feelings in addition as well...)

concerning your flight: take the car/train, if you want to be sure. maybe open/find another thread to find people with similar problems and similar direction, to share a car with.
