DVP 342 FIRMAMENT – For Centuries Alive LP/CD

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present the highly anticipated second album of Germany’s FIRMAMENT, For Centuries Alive, on CD and vinyl LP formats.

Formed in 2021, FIRMAMENT have drawn inspiration from everything the night sky has to offer in terms of rock music, fusing myriad influences from various eras – from proto-metal to NWOBHM. As first boldly displayed by the debut album We Don’t Rise, We Just Fall – released in 2023 by DYING VICTIMS to critical acclaim – the Germans’ authentically homemade sound feels familiar yet ventures into uncharted territory: a journey through time, bridging past and future. FIRMAMENT distill the signature trademarks of these musical aeons into a sound that lingers not just in the ear but, most importantly, deep within the heart.

And since that fruitful formation, FIRMAMENT’s classic lineup of drums, bass, twin guitars, and vocals has been bringing their epic, dark, yet romantic heavy-rock sound to the stage. Among many others, the band have played at such festivals as Muskelrock, Starlett Stock, and Trveheim, establishing themselves as a captivating live act – and, in the process, earning highly positive feedback from the press, the scene, and their fans alike.

FIRMAMENT’s foundation was poignantly established by the aforementioned debut album and then successive split with the reanimated MIDNIGHT PREY, Gathered Under Open Skies, but the sky is indeed the limit. Witness the band’s dramatic second album, For Centuries Alive. With full dedication to their new work, FIRMAMENT explore new sonic and lyrical realms, all in celebration of “Her Majesty” – music, in all her glory. And while their time-worn influences remain in place – namely, the untouchable trio of Wishbone Ash, Blue Öyster Cult, and Thin Lizzy – where they then go with these influences “of known and unknown territories” puts their heavy rock in its own rarefied category altogether. Hearts even more proudly on sleeves, the Germans unfurl eight propulsive narratives (plus mood-setting intro) with a joie de vivre that’s engaging, endearing, and exciting to the extreme. Thoughtful and romantic lyrics are thrust to the fore across timeless, storytelling music, all wrapped in a warm and impulsive production, resulting in a record that feels bigger and brighter than its not-considerable predecessor. If FIRMAMENT again sound “old” here, it’s not so much because a concerted effort was made to be “retro” or similar; rather, it’s an understated underlining of endearing values within rock music – of form and content in harmonious, symbiotic balance. Not for nothing, then, is this new album named For Centuries Alive: FIRMAMENT are sonic sages from time memorial, arriving with “new” ageless wisdom!

– Regular gatefold edition on black vinyl, with poster, sticker, post card and download code.
– Special gatefold edition on dark green vinyl, with poster, sticker, post card, download code and patch.
– CD edition with sticker and obi.

DVP 343 Naevus – Back Home LP/CD

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present NAEVUS’ highly anticipated third album, Back Home, on CD and vinyl LP formats.

Hailing from Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany’s NAEVUS was originally formed in 1991 as a death metal trio. Various lineup changes and musical alterations led to the first demo Quixotic Dreams in 1993. The second demo, A Sad Illusion, arrived a year later bearing a doomier sound and clean vocals. In 1995 the Autumn Sun demo was recorded and released, with the lineup still existing today: Uwe Groebel (vocals / lead guitar), Oliver Grosshans (guitar), Sven Heimerdinger (bass), and Mathias Straub (drums). The demo – influenced by Trouble, Pentagram, Saint Vitus, The Obsessed, and Black Sabbath – received very good international reviews and finally led to the first recording contract in 1997 with Lee Dorrian’s Rise Above Records. The recordings were made at Vielklang Studio in Berlin where The Obsessed’s debut and Saint Vitus’ V were recorded. Bearing the title Sun Meditation, NAEVUS’ debut album was released in March 1998.

Thereafter, NAEVUS’ musical style continued to develop. This was followed by the 14 Inches of Fury four-way split with Revelation, Twisted Tower Dire, and Grief of God as well as the song “R.I.P” on the Trouble tribute album. After family and professional changes, the band went their separate ways in 1999, while at the same time, Mathias Straub and Oliver Grosshans founded the epic power metal band Sacred Steel. From then on, Uwe Groebel dedicated himself to the doom trio Voodooshock with further song ideas, before the band got back together in 2012 and the first rehearsals for the reunion show with Saint Vitus began. Originally, they only wanted to play the old songs again, but the joy of playing meant that new songs were not long in coming. In 2016, the second long-player, Heavy Burden, was released and garnered with internationally positive reviews.

In 2023, recordings began for a third album. At last here, Back Home is its title, and quite aptly. NAEVUS are nothing if not consistent, and within the opening minute – hell, even seconds – you are right Back Home with their warm, emotive doom. And yet, while NAEVUS’ traditional-yet-signature sound remains stronger than ever, the means of arriving at that have changed some. Nowadays, the band acts more flexibly and arranges the entire songs together, which was previously almost exclusively reserved for Uwe Groebel. Groebel’s vocals are as melodically hypnotic as ever, too, with the very personal lyrics imparting loss and grief but also with love and hope – a quality surely highlighted by the man’s warm pipes. Cementing this sensation of warmth and comfort – effectively, being Back Home – the cover art was once again created by Roland Scriver.

DYING VICTIMS is honored to bring NAEVUS Back Home, and the album’s release show will take place with old tape-trading friend Patrick Walker of 40 Watt Sun and Warning at Schwarzer Keiler, Stuttgart on October 2nd.

– Regular gatefold edition on black vinyl, with insert, poster, sticker, post card and download code.
– Special gatefold edition on transparent blue vinyl, with insert, poster, sticker, post card, download code and patch.
– CD edition with sticker and obi.

DVP 344 Sadistic Goatmessiah – Violence LP/CD

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS, in conspiracy with Fucking Kill Records, is proud to present SADISTIC GOATMESSIAH’s highly anticipated debut album, Violence, on CD and vinyl LP formats.

Hailing from North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany’s SADISTIC GOATMESSIAH originally formed in 2013 but were mostly inactive until 2017. Back then, the band was a duo of vocalist / guitarist / bassist Morbid Goatpriest of Lust, Filth and Mayhem and drummer Goat Primator. As suggested by those nom de plumes and, of course, their very moniker itself, SADISTIC GOATMESSIAH revel in sonic filth, as exemplified by their first couple demos, where a strong influence of the almighty Nifelheim and Australian blackthrash can be felt – and Japan’s legendary Sabbat, above all, which endures to this day. In 2021, bassist Goatess of Fire arrived, making the band a power-trio and driving that filth in a different-yet-parallel direction: speed metal with Hellhammer / Celtic Frost and Darkthrone influences and an unapologetic punk attitude (and still Sabbat!). Thereafter, four splits and a demo followed, fleshing out the SADISTIC GOATMESSIAH sound before the inevitable debut album.

At last here, Violence is that first full-length, and its elegantly simple title says everything it should. Fast and deadly as the scythe of the reaper, SADISTIC GOATMESSIAH here unload an arsenal of dungeonic speed metal steeped in the ancient and FUCK OFF, loose and lawless and deliberately raw as hot blood. Those aforementioned influences still remain, but the foremost one is of Sabbat, where eerie leads ride a galloping steed of filth, all reverbed to Hell and back, never feeling “retro” because the future never happened. For all the familiarity, the ten tracks comprising Violence work their malevolent magick due to SADISTIC GOATMESSIAH’s off-the-rails execution: never faked, always full-on, fucking going for the throat and never letting up. As such, the album’s 40 minutes fly by in a flash, compelling repeat listeners just as you try to escape that very dungeon…the air above stinks, so might as well plummet back down to the filth! You want Violence? SADISTIC GOATMESSIAH will give you fucking VIOLENCE!

– Regular edition on black vinyl, with obi, insert, poster, sticker, post card and download code.
– Special edition on purple vinyl, with obi, insert, poster, sticker, post card, download code and patch.
– CD edition with sticker and obi.

DVP 345 Palantyr – The Ascent & The Hunger LP

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS, in conspiracy with Jawbreaker Records, is proud to present PALANTYR’s The Ascent & The Hunger on vinyl LP format. The CD edition was released on Jawbreaker in April 2025.

Hailing from Thionville, France, Palantyr – formerly known as Destrukt until August 2024 – returns with a vengeance, combining three tracks from their previous EP, The Ascent, with three brand-new, scorching anthems of relentless, melody-infused steel.

Athena’s commanding voice leads the charge, calling speedfreaks to battle with a dynamic fusion of speed and heavy metal, sharpened with an epic edge. Unlike many bands that look solely to the past, Palantyr dares to push forward, blending the ferocity of Mystik, the epic grandeur of Smoulder, and the raw heavy metal aggression of Blood Star, Tower, and Iron Griffin. The result? A perfect storm of speed, melody, and firepower.

But that’s not all – one of the new tracks is a ripping cover of Paul Roland’s Nosferatu, reimagined and reforged into a high-octane speed metal banger, proving Palantyr’s ability to reshape a song into something uniquely their own. Meanwhile, the remaining new tracks showcase the band’s most intense, yet melodically rich material to date, with riffs that drive adrenaline levels through the roof and choruses that demand fists in the air.

This release is a double-edged sword – ferocity and melody, velocity and power. For fans of Mystik, Acid, Smoulder, Blood Star, Iron Griffin, and Tower – this one’s for you!

– Regular edition on black vinyl, with insert, poster, sticker, post card and download code.
– Special edition on red vinyl, with insert, poster, sticker, post card, download code and patch.

DVP 346 REVENGE – Night Danger LP/CD

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present the highly anticipated tenth album of Colombia’s REVENGE, Night Danger, on CD and vinyl LP formats.

Formed in 2002, Colombia’s REVENGE have been keeping it true – and consistently – for a very long time now. While their home country continues to have a true metal renaissance, REVENGE have been there from the very beginning, pioneering the resurgence of classic metal sounds over the course of their sizable discography and steady touring across South America and even the United States. In fact, in 2018, REVENGE became the only South American band invited to the 70,000 Tons of Metal cruise festival.

Like clockwork, every couple years do REVENGE return to the full-length front, and they now present a worldwide edition of Night Danger. The Colombians’ tenth(!) album to date, Night Danger rips and races with class and craft – the kind that REVENGE have been forging in steel for time eternal. On the whole, Night Danger is a speed metal record, but one imbued with a prominent sense of classic heavy metal. Put another way, think of how bands like Judas Priest, Riot, and Manowar – and then Running Wild, Helloween, and Razor right after – took traditional metal and juiced it up just enough to make it truly METAL and sometimes speed metal, and there in that rarefied territory will you find REVENGE. Of course, if you want galloping, adrenaline-pumping TRUE speed metal, Night Danger is about as paradigmatic as it comes: completely classic and also contemporary. This is the ultimate REVENGE!

– Special edition on oxblood vinyl, with insert, poster, sticker, post card, download code and patch.

DVP 347 Armoured Knight – The Quest for the Sacred Melody LP/CD

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present ARMOURED KNIGHT’s highly anticipated debut album, The Quest for the Sacred Melody, on CD and vinyl LP formats.

Formed in 2009, Chile’s AMOURED KNIGHT are a speed metal band who draw inspiration from such legendary / cult ’80s bands as Helloween, Savage Grace, Not Fragile, Viper, and Pokolgép. After several attempts to solidify their lineup, they released their debut EP, Prophecy of Tomorrow, in 2013, standing out with their epic, fast, and melodic style. The band’s membership includes such bands as HELLISH, HEMISFERIO, Mortal Whisper, Slicer, Deathsvn, Espada, and ex-Mayhemic.

Over the years, ARMOURED KNIGHT have undergone various lineup changes but have always maintained their essence and passion for classic metal. After a hiatus in 2014, they reunited in 2017 with a new formation and released the EP Ashes of Glory and then the EP The Sacred Flame in 2020. Now, with that lineup – Cristian (guitar), Mario Vera (drums), Cristhoper Falk (bass), and José Tapia (vocals) – they are finally gearing up to release their debut album.

Titled The Quest for the Sacred Melody, ARMOURED KNIGHT’s first full-length promises to establish them as one of the freshest and most powerful forces in contemporary classic metal. Totaling eight songs in 35 minutes, this new work marks an evolution in their sound, preserving their essence while embracing a more mature, faster, and more energetic approach. Indeed, when ARMOURED KNIGHT get going, they really get going – truly, this is SPEED METAL of a most mid-‘80s vintage – but even when cruising at such unsafe speeds, there’s a bright & dynamic melodicism at the core of their sound, with bountiful, equally bright & dynamic leads stacked healthily atop; the latter can be attributed to a more pronounced power metal influence, namely early Blind Guardian. As such, The Quest of the Sacred Melody is truly titled; the songwriting runs the gamut of heroic to melancholic, but everything’s streamlined for maximum power, all whilst sounding like the same band. What’s more, the gleaming and yet just-rough-enough production truly nails that vintage vibe, especially setting the night on fire when ARMOURED KNIGHT decelerate to a mid-tempo, such as on the moody & marching “Endless Light.” The time is NOW to begin The Quest for the Sacred Melody!

– Regular edition on black vinyl, with insert, poster, sticker, post card and download code.
– Special edition on white vinyl, with insert, poster, sticker, post card, download code and patch.
– CD edition with sticker and obi.

DVP 348 DET – Destructive Elite Terror LP/CD

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present DET’s highly anticipated debut album, Destructive Elite Terror, on CD and vinyl LP formats.

Hailing from Helsinki, Finland’s DET are a speed / death metal band formed in 2022. A power-trio from the very beginning, DET feature members who do or have done time in such bands as Excuse, Asphodelus, Ranger, and Cryogenic among others. Right away, they released the demo Death Night, which was followed a year later by the Vengeance demo and a split with fellow countrymen Kruisfoitu. Meanwhile, they played live in several countries such as Armenia, Georgia, Germany and the UK and received praising reviews for their performances.

If there was ever any mystery about the acronym to their moniker, DET now deliver their debut album, spelling it out in no uncertain terms: Destructive Elite Terror. Truly titled, Destructive Elite Terror rushes forward with a fury that cannot be contained. While DET will never win any faster-than-thou contests, their use of speed of a measured one, going from hypnotic cruise to Bathorian bang to even an early Sarcofago surge – and every step of the way, energy is maintained and maximized. As such, Destructive Elite Terror offers a refreshing amount of variety in its deceptively breathless 36-minute runtime, and the trio’s riffing similarly exudes a keen sense of space and moody melody to ensure it’s not just straight-ahead bulldoze all the time. Simple but never simplistic, this is authentically old school without pandering to tired tropes.

Somewhere between the crudest early speed metal, contemporaneous proto-black metal, and the very earliest death metal lies Destructive Elite Terror: DET are coming for you!

– Regular edition on black vinyl, with obi, insert, poster, sticker, post card and download code.
– Special edition on neon yellow vinyl, with obi, insert, poster, sticker, post card, download code and patch.
– CD edition with sticker and obi.

DVP 351 Atonement – Ripping Death MC

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present the new demo of Sweden’s ATONEMENT, Ripping Death, on music cassette format.

Two years after their debut album Sadistic Invaders, the Swedish black thrash commando is back with a crushing new demo. The devilish three-piece delivers as many songs that continue their blasphemous path of worshipping the true origins of merciless thrash metal. These songs were written while carrying the flame throughout several European countries in order to bridge the time until their next full length.

DVP 352 Fate’s Hand – Steel, Fire & Ice LP/CD

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present FATE’S HAND’s highly anticipated debut album, Steel, Fire and Ice, on CD and vinyl LP formats.

It was but 2021 when FATE’S HAND quietly emerged with their self-titled debut EP. Downplaying their membership, the Australians nevertheless possessed a wealth of veteran experience, with members hailing from such heavyweights as StarGazer and Mongrels Cross among others. As FATE’S HAND, they deftly drew from the primordial well of Northern lore and attacked in a savage foray of traditionalist heavy metal. In a word, Fate’s Hand was both old and new, surprising and unsurpassed.

Now flexing those same muscles across a full-length, FATE’S HAND at last arrive with their debut album, almost-too-perfectly titled Steel, Fire and Ice. With swords drawn and teeth bared, on Steel, Fire and Ice do FATE’S HAND sing an ode to victories on the physical and metaphysical battlefield. Whereas the Aussies’ debut EP totaled four songs, their debut album doubles that; as such, it more boldly and brazenly displays the full fathom of their powers and prowess. And like that EP, on Steel, Fire and Ice does visceral melody grasp tightly on the spear of classic heavy metal, hearkening to the genre’s progenitors and – in the same breath – taunting, daring the very same gods. Bloodied but unbowed, FATE’S HAND’s songwriting goes to more epic lengths whilst remaining urgent and impassioned, stoicism and bravado colliding headlong for a timeless sturm and drang that engages ever more as the album plays on to its penultimate conclusion. High drama as heavy metal, still surprising and unsurpassed!

FATE’S HAND keep the torch lit for fans of Judas Priest, King Diamond, Destruction, and Bathory. Turn the lights down and play it loud – glory to the brave with Steel, Fire and Ice!

DVP 353 Speedclaw – Stardust LP/CD

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present SPEEDCLAW’s highly anticipated debut album, Stardust, on CD and vinyl LP formats.

SPEEDCLAW are a Croatian metal band that have been delivering raw heavy metal since 2015. First came the aptly titled Iron Speed EP in 2016, and the Beast in the Mist EP followed the next year. Between the two short-lengths, SPEEDCLAW wielded exuberant-yet-reverent steel of early ‘80s vintage, an era when the NWOBHM was in full steam and speed metal was in its nascent days. The uptick in professionalism and POWER from one EP to the next certainly heightened expectations for what the Croatians could do on a full-length.

At last here, Stardust is that full-length, and SPEEDCLAW show everything – and MORE – they’re capable of. Taking all the electricity and excitement of those two EPs and amplifying ‘em with a certain starpower, Stardust is indeed aptly titled. That aforementioned uptick in power & professionalism play out to its fullest extent across this eight-song / 33-minute stick of dynamite, all whilst retaining SPEEDCLAW’s early edge. Stardust is actually a semi-conceptual album: four of the eight tracks are thematically connected, forming a narrative, while the remaining songs stand independently. The conceptual “Night Side” features four songs that tell a story inspired by the band’s life on the road and everything that comes with it.

Keeping their original sound but just ramping it up – truly, you can imagine the band slaying huge stages to this – on Stardust do SPEEDCLAW dependably deliver melodic, bursting-at-the-seams riffs and an authentically old-school flair, still heavily rooted in classic heavy metal traditions but with a raw edge that reflects their own identity. Just clear enough, never overdriven by crunch, and with an ancient earthiness, Stardust was recorded at the GIS studio in Croatia by none other than Let 3’s Matej Zec, a well-established Croatian musician. Mixing and mastering were done by Enforcer’s Olof Wikstrand, who also makes an appearance on one of the songs on the album. Get showered in Stardust and prepare to be ensnared by SPEEDCLAW

– Special edition on red vinyl sold out

DVP-R 11 Sacrifice – Tears LP/CD
DVP-R 06 Sacrifice – Total Steel CD

RELICS FROM THE CRYPT, the sub-label of DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS dedicated to keeping the past alive, is proud to present a reissue of the cult third album of Japan’s SACRIFICE, Tears, on CD and vinyl LP formats.
After 2021’s vinyl edition of Total Steel, a CD edition will be released as well.

From their humble beginnings in 1985 on to their super-cult debut album, 1987’s Crest of Black, Japan’s SACRIFICE have stood for uncompromising, world-eating, thrashy METAL. Let’s reiterate: thrashy heavy metal rather than pure thrash metal. Thick and viscous is their thrust, with straightforward songwriting and exceptionally mean delivery. Arguably, they’d perfect that signature style with 1990’s Total Steel, which RELICS FROM THE CRYPT would reissue on vinyl in 2021, but there’s something uniquely powerful about its follow-up, Tears.

Released in 1992 and again featuring the band’s signature steel-encased demon mascot, SACRIFICE’s Tears was even more of anomaly than its not-inconsiderable predecessor. Compared to 1990, in 1992 was crossover largely dead on both sides of the Atlantic.

Nevertheless, SACRIFICE continued to fight the good fight and formed & finessed the idiom to their own idiosyncratic design. Such is intrinsic to their native musical culture, much in the way that Japanese punk takes bog-standard tropes and upends them in unique ways. So, while Total Steel took then-contemporaneous Cro-Mags, Venom, Razor, Carnivore, the UK’s Sacrilege, Nasty Savage, The Exploited, and even early Celtic Frost and spat it out as something that sounded like all those simultaneously and nothing like ‘em at all, Tears, by comparison, more often slowed down the still-hammering pulse and added a bit more space and daresay emotion – not for nothing is the album titled Tears, right? – and returned with something even more varied, more dynamic, and especially more world-eating. One need only peruse the album’s titles – “Hardest Life,” “Time Slips Through In Front of Your Eyes,” “Broken Heroes,” and the utterly classic opener “Never Land Never Again” among them – as well as the lyric sheet to find support for that “emotional” statement. As such, Tears could quite possibly eclipse Total Steel as SACRIFICE’s ultimate statement…but cruelly enough, the album currently stands as their recorded epitaph, for they broke up after its release and have yet to release anything following their 2020 reunion.

Even after all these years, Tears stands as a massive achievement during a strange era for metal, and possibly sounds even more refreshing today. Metalheads, punks, and metalpunks are hereby commanded to bow down again before SACRIFICE!

DVP-R 12 Not Fragile – Who Dares Wins MLP
DVP-R 13 Not Fragile – One Way to Glory LP/CD

RELICS FROM THE CRYPT, the sub-label of DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS dedicated to keeping the past alive, is proud to present reissues of NOT FRAGILE’s cult Who Dares Wins mini-album on 12” vinyl format and the band’s One Way to Glory album on CD and vinyl LP formats.

One of the best hard-luck stories in the rich history of German heavy metal, NOT FRAGILE were originally active from 1980 to 1990. During that decade, the band released a couple demos, an EP, and an almost-album-length mini-album – and the requisite compilation appearances, which was mandatory during the ‘80s – and had even recorded a proper debut album, only for that first full-length to be posthumously released in various territories with confusing titles. They would eventually re-form in the mid ‘90s and remain active for nearly two decades, but the demand for the original NOT FRAGILE era has only grown as the years passed.
Feeling duty call, RELICS FROM THE CRYPT arrive with long-overdue reissues of NOT FRAGILE’s Who Dares Wins mini-album and their intended debut album, One Way to Glory, both remastered: the former adjusted for vinyl by Journey Into Eternity Studios, and the latter a whole new remaster by Patrick Engel at Temple of Disharmony.

Originally released in 1988 after being passed around by a couple labels, Who Dares Wins was a rough ‘n’ raucous slice of German speed / power metal emblematic of that era. With surprising heaviness if not thrashiness, the band’s 27-minute mini-album bore contemporaneous influence from the likes of Running Wild and Helloween nearby and Helstar and Liege Lord overseas. Nevertheless, NOT FRAGILE had the songwriting – and energy – to put them over, with the record’s production sounding particularly professional despite its meager budget. The following year, the band would record their ill-fated debut album, One Way to Glory. As presaged by its title, the lyrics shifted slightly toward more fantastical realms – the band did have an amazingly DIY castle backdrop for the mini’s “With All My Might” video, after all – and the thrashiness dialed back, but energy remained abundant here. The band’s execution actually got even sharper as the riffing became a bit brighter and more melodic, and the cleaner production brought a triumphant gleam to NOT FRAGILE whilst sacrificing no heaviness. Taken as a snapshot of the times, One Way to Glory simultaneously sounded out of date and ahead of the times, as power metal was about to have a resurgence across Europe during the mid ‘90s. However, their version of power metal surely bore the medieval stamp of the ‘80s, and was all the better for it. Sad, then, that their debut album would only see posthumous release in 1992 and 1993 as Hard to Be Alive and Lost in a Dream, respectively, alongside a mishmash of other ‘80s tracks.

Who Dares Wins:
– Regular edition on black vinyl, with insert, poster, sticker, post card and download code.
– Special edition on white vinyl, with insert, poster, sticker, post card, download code and patch.

One Way to Glory:
– Regular edition on black vinyl, with insert, poster, sticker, post card and download code.
– Special edition on orange vinyl, with insert, poster, sticker, post card, download code and patch.
– CD edition with sticker and obi.
