Killer band! As far as I know, this is only available on LP. I got the LP off Ebay and got it dubbed to CD-R.

80s slightly proggy Queensryche-ish metal, reminds me a bit of a cross between
"The Warning", "Awaken the Guardian", and Sacred Warrior. The band are very competant and the guitarist has some real shredding solos. The singer has a bit of a weird tone, maybe like a cross between Geoff Tate and Geddy Lee but he has an impressive range and sings some awesome melodies.

Great stuff. I really recommend you guys check it out. I hope it gets released on CD someday.

Yeah, another great one-off by a superb band in the grand old-Queensryche/Sacred Warrior-tradition. It is available on cd, however: I own the original pressing, but there's an official New Renaissance-reissue as well (was priced at an affordable 9.99 dollars about a year ago). Copies should be popping up on eBay every now and then, so update your 'Search'-options. :)

Well, it's true that it's been released officially on cd years ago but I never saw it for a good price.

There are lots of bootlegs circulation, so beware.

Well, I don't think this CD has been reissued yet. New Renaissance is talking about it but their website seems to indicate this might happen sometime in the future.

Besides Heir Apparent's "Graceful Inheritance" the Screamer's "Target Earth" is the best Queensryche Album ever released. As far as the CD issue goes from what i remember it has been offically released on CD back in the day (when the album came out) but in absolute small quantity, i think i have read somewhere that only 1500 CD copies of that album have been pressed and distributed. But since bootleggers did flood ebay with bootlegs of "Target Earth" lately New Renaissance is about to rerelease the Album later this year. So beware if you come across a CD copy of the album since it's very likely someone wants to offer you a bootleg.

Jennifer at New Renaissance Reco hat geschrieben: New Renaissance is re-releasing a number of CDs this summer. We just received the numbered edition of AMULANCE's "Feel The Pain." I think STEEL FURY, OLIVER MAGNUM, CEREBUS, PHANTOM, HOLOCROSS, GENOCIDE, SCREAMER, PROWLER, etc. are all on the list.

For more information do to: <a href='http://www.newrenaissancerecords.com' target='_blank'>http://www.newrenaissancerecords.com</a>

For the record ...
On your bootleg page
<a href='http://newrenaissance.hypermart.net/bootlegs.html' target='_blank'>http://newrenaissance.hypermart.net/bootlegs.html</a> ,
the cd, OLIVER MAGNUM - OLIVER MAGNUM is mentioned to be available as a bootleg.
A friend of mine has one from Restless records from 1989.
You're not gonna tell me that's a bootleg!
If I'm correct, Restless records released the original O. Magnum lp/cd back in the late 80's.
Not?

The old 1989 pressings are all legit. There's a new pressing which came out just a few years ago (2004?). This one is a bootleg. You can easily find it out, when you listen to it. It's taken from vinyl.

So if you own an orignal from 1989, you should be on the safe side.

The new releases all have the SPV logo on it. There was an official pressing on SPV around 1989, too. The bootleggers have taken this design for the bootleg.
