Despite the fact that I've posted this topic already on the German-language board, this might be interesting for English-language 'Pit-readers as well.

After two studio albums and one cd comprised of early demo recordings, the progressive power metalband Seventh Omen called it a day. With bassist and drummer having left SO, guitarists Clay Yoksas and Damon Bernklau decided that there was no point in continuing, as the 'Omen had always been a tightly knit unit who also hung out together et cetera. An unfittingly premature ending for yet another great band in the US-underground scene.

For old SO-followers out there, there is good news. Damon Bernklau has resurfaced with his own band Dedkor, once again devoted to playing quality metal the traditional way. The debut cd is currently being recorded; it will be a self-financed affair, to be released early 2007.
If you love your metal the oldfashioned, handmade and powerful way, or if you are an old Seventh Omen-fan, then check out Damon's new band at this address:
