I don't know what you think ragers but we have to support Jeff here... that would be SO GREAT to see that metal released officially! What do you think?

I know a lot of people have asked about the demos being officially released over the years. Although these have some historic value as an important part of the development of the band, they are - to me - tapes that I would rather leave in the past, as all of them are embarassing for one reason or another. That said, I can respect those of you who would like to own these recordings, and for that reason alone I am considering releasing them, but only if they meet my quality standards, and even then, only if it makes financial sense to release them.
I know that many of you already have the bootleg copy of these recordings, so I'm not convinced that there is a market for releasing better quality versions, especially given the current sales numbers of our two existing CDs.
The reason for this post is to see what kind of interest there would be in a CD of our past demo material.
Many times I have begun digging through masters to come up with versions whose quality was up to my standards, but all of these recordings would need extensive restoration to be released properly, which means a lot of work and expense. I would also want the packaging to be extensive, so that the package is as good as it can be. Again this is a time consuming proposition.
Frankly, I'll take any excuse I can find not have to spend hours listening to my work from decades ago when that time could be devoted to creating new music. I also don't want to be putting money into this project that could be used for releasing new recordings unless I am certain that it will be recouped quickly.
If you are interested in seeing a CD (or more) being released with official, remastered (and where possible, perhaps even remixed) versions of our old recordings, this is the place and now is the time to speak up.
