I still have a little 4 x 4 promo flyer I got for the album when I was in Atlanta, and have been very curious to hear it since.

it's brilliant!!! I love the scheme of the painting, who did the artwork?
Cheers!

NP: Mob Rules - Among The Gods
Hail Dustin!
Thanks! That little flyer was handed out by Overlorde Force Recon Pathfinder Hoyt.
Doing his part to spread the word just like Pathfinders MK and Oli!
The artwork was done by Greek Fantasy/comic artist Giorgos K. via Music Forward.
Oli humbles us with his description of MARK OF THE WOLF. The music for this song was one of the last written by us before we broke up in late 1988. We had really grown in our complexity by then as compared to songs on the 1987 EP, most of which had been written from 1985 to 1986. Then when Bobby joined the band in 2000, he wrote the excellent lyrics, drawing on his love of the horror movie genre. Its a great song, telling of a man's transformation into a werewolf.
You will also like the fact that Bobby is one of the easiest singers to understand when listening. While it is always good to have the lyrics in front of you, it is much less important when he sings. You can understand what he is saying more easily. So when a song like MOTW comes on, you can really follow the story.
I know Kostas at Sonic Age loves TRAPPED BY MAGIC, which is also heavy in the Dio/Rainbow influence.
BTW, Oli, Rainbow's STARGAZER is my favorite song of all time by any band, any genre!
