Perhaps the fact that you ordered a lot of discs (packages) is the reason they get held up at customs. I ordered Ancient Cross and Target (wrote short comments in the respective threads) and both have already arrived. The weird thing is, over here, mail from the US seems to arrive quicker now (I'll be damned if I know why).

My latest Shadow Kingdom order arrived yesterday and it only took a week (incl. stop at customs).

As I wrote to Iron Kodex's Mrs. God yesterday, sending out and receiving packages is getting more and more like playing the lottery. It used to be a lot better in the eighties, when even sending cash was relatively safe and less of a gamble.

As I apologized earlier the problem is at my end this time. Apart from all unexpected delays this time around, I'm also totally swamped and am still running 2+ weeks behind on processing orders. For instance today I packed orders received on September 17th.

I can only work on the label at evenings and weekends. Also because of the very limited storage space I keep all releases on spindles and jewelcase, fold the spine flyers, and shrinkwrap every single cd manually! People do not realize it, but it takes a lot of time to do so, especially on big wholesale orders (and I have a lot of those too). To jewelcase and pack an order of 40 CDs along with filling invoices and printing shipping labels takes approx 45 minutes... so sometimes I can only process 3-4 orders per day.

Shadow Kingdom is faster coz they are two people (Tim and his wife) doing this as full-time job. I'm alone and can only do this after work... so um yeah, Stormspell is a slow label, sorry.

That is absolutely fine for me. Being on your todo list is a far better feeling than hoping for the world-wide postal services to have some good days
