I'm waiting on Tim Smith to send me the layout materials and will put it out asap. Hopefully September or thereabouts.

Helmuth, It will be released in 500 copies because almost ALL 80s re-issues I've put out recently suffer HORRIBLE sales and I cannot afford making 1000 and then sitting on 600 unsold copies anymore. I know it is sad and may be a shock news to some people, but titles like XINR, NARVAL, ELDRITCH RITE, CHEMICAL ANNIHILATION, VAMPYR, SERPENT SAINTS, etc. could have been released in 500 copies and I still would have copies in stock... sad but true.

So I'm going the low road and will limit re-issues to 500 when possible. It comes expensive to make those limited, but I'd rather make smaller profit and see them all sold out in 6-12 months rather than have all those unsold CDs clustering my shelves.

ROBYN DANGER will be limited 500 copies too, as well as NOVOY ZAVET, MIDNIGHT PRIEST, MILITIA (if those dudes ever get around to sending me the materials), and probably ISCARIOT too (Although if I end up making CD+DVD of it I'll have to go for 1000 as there is no reasonable price-break for a double sets under 1000 really).

Sad to hear that...except for Naval i've got all of them. Too bad there isn't more interest in these high quality releases nowadays.

Well it's better to have 500 than to have none. In the end Iordan has to know what makes sense businesswise!

Besides that I am very happy about the Dark Black release. I really enjoy the songs they have on Myspace

It's a fucking shame that crap releases like Swashbuckle (or put in almost any other commercial crap here) sell like hell but quality releases like all those Stormspell have ever done don't.

Yeah, image sells, music doesn't...
At least normally, there are coincidences in the Metal-scene that couldn't be understood sometimes (Dream Theater for example)....

For aeons already I preach how great Dark Black are and ifnally somebody releases the record of one of the best Metal Bands of those days. I can't tell how happy I am that this comes out. Hope someone also puts it out on vinyl.

The band wants to see it on vinyl, but I have no idea what label will put it out. The problem is, this release was branded as "modern poser crap" on miskatonic forum and the usual vinyl labels will steer clear I guess...
