Ist ist mir eine grosse Freude, hier anzukündigen das eine meiner absoluten Faves zu uns aufs Label stossen werden.
Der neue Album (voraussichtlich METALKILL THE WORLD) wurde komplett mit den Orginalmitgliedern eingespielt und wird Mitte 2010 das Licht der Öffentlichkeit über PSR erblicken. Das Cover wird wieder ganz in alter Tradition von Chris Verwimp gepinselt.

Der Coverstil bei SKULLVIEW hat mir schon immer gefallen,also bitte Vinyl anfertigen,wenn der Künstler der gleiche ist.

Fand ich geil die Band, bis auf das zweite Album, da hatten sie irgendwie einen unerklärlichen Durchhänger, aber sonst essentieller Power Stahl! Vinyl wäre natürlich königlich, aber nicht wieder im Stil von der COMMENDMENT wenn's geht. Ach ja, fordern kann man ja viel in einem Forum, das kostet nichts, aber ich gehör ja auch zur zahlenden Kundschaft, da darf ich mir das schon erlauben, oder?

Ach Kritik darf gerne abgegeben werden, mir gefällt das Cover nachwievor ausgezeichnet und Johnny auch. Ich weiß aber noch nicht was bei Skullview geplant ist. Vinyl wird es aber definitiv geben.

Der Song klingt schon mal ziemlich cool! Das Video ist dagegen total idiotisch. Wer will denn sehen, wie sich irgendwelche Dumpfbacken prügeln, die weder Kutten noch lange Haare haben? Ähnlich Metal wie die Teckerdisse an der Ecke.

Der Song läuft echt gut rein! Nur dieses Dünnbrettbohrervideo ist einfach kagge und lässt
echt ein paar Zweifel aufkommen an der politischen Gesinnung der Jungs.
Ich habe mich bisher mit der Gruppe eigentlich gar nicht beschäftigt. Vielleicht kann jemand hier im Board mein
Mißtrauen gegenüber der Band auch gleich beseitigen.

Greetings....just stopping in to say hello. A little background about the song "The Bruise". The song was originally written around the songs' title. We were rehearsing one night...a typical Skullview rehearsal entailed playing a few songs...then improv jamming for about an hour. Whatever sounded cool and was memorable ended up turning into a song. So we had just worked our way into a few catchy sounding riffs that we really thought sounded good. When we took a break we were talking about a concert we had played where someone started some shit with us on stage and as soon as we finished our set a fight broke out. Quimby was talking about how this guy came after him so he hit the guy with the microphone stand and then started pounding him in the head with his microphone over and over like he was possessed with rage...it was funny becasue Quimby is a pretty laid back dude and is more into having a good time and making friends with everyone, so him hitting someone over and over with the microphone was a funny thought. As he was describing the details of him hitting the guy with the microphone I turned to him and said..."you know...that's why they call you The Bruise!". We all laughed...then Quimby said "this song is called "The Bruise" and we all kicked into playing these new riffs we had and completed the song pretty close to how you hear it today. We never had any official lyrics for it by the time Eric had joined the band and was doing vocals, so Eric wrote some lyrics for the demo that weren't really what the original thought of the song was about. When we reunited with Quimby and went to the studio...Quimby and I collaberated on the lyrics about a guy who is so controlled by rage that no matter what he tries to do he just ends up harming and physically abusing people. He doesn't understand why he's this way, he doesn't want to be this way..it just happens and he can't control it and there is nothing anyone can do to stop him...and his mind gets progressively more twisted driving him to become ever more violent. Nothing political about it at all...it's not about racism or anything of that nature, none of our songs are...it's simply about violent behavior. So the video shows rare Skullview live performances, and had to throw in some fight scenes to match the concept of the song....

Das Artwork kommt, die ersten Entwürfe von Kris Verwimp sind geil.

Offizieller Releasedate ist der 06.08.2010. Irgendwer am Cover und der Tracklist interessiert?
